“Working with Kari was incredibly beneficial to our family. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and patient…Kari was detailed in her approach from the very beginning. She was able to look at our current circumstances holistically and ask all of the important questions about our goals and what we would feel comfortable with. She not only provided us with valuable information, but she had excellent follow up, thorough in her daily interactions with us and check-ins, and also flexibility with what our baby needed…our baby's sleep has drastically improved with the suggestions she made and we are all sleeping so much better. I would highly recommend her services, she genuinely cares for her families..”

“…I’m so glad we chose to work with you. You have completely changed our lives!!!!”

“…completely slept thru the night, woke up at 630 this morning!! It was wonderful and I actually woke up this morning feeling like I got a good night of sleep...”

“Kari is very easy to work with. She is also available to chat with throughout the day and evenings. We are all sleeping better/longer because of her guidance. Literally life changing!”

“Kari has an amazing nap guide! My twins are 18 months and ready to drop from 2 to 1 naps. Her guide had such helpful strategies to facilitate dropping the nap without disturbing their sleep. I hope she shares this review so everyone knows that I’m singing her praises!”

Welcome!

Hi there! I’m Kari Michniewicz, The Pediatric Sleep Teacher. I’m sure you are here because you are completely exhausted and looking for answers. I have been where you are now, which inspired me to help other families get better rest in ways that feel good to their heart. After my daughter was born, severe sleep deprivation was wreaking havoc on my entire household. I knew my daughter needed more sleep to grow and flourish - frankly, so did I in order to be the best mom I could be. I knew I needed help with establishing healthy sleep habits, but never wanted to leave my daughter to cry. I knew there had to be a middle ground that respected my parenting style and responsiveness to my daughter, while gently guiding her towards healthy sleep. So I set out to find answers. I asked everyone I knew and started reading through books and articles. After combining my child development background and routines I learned through my sleep certification, the sleep slowly started to come. Was it perfect? No. Did she still wake at night sometimes? Yes. Did I still respond to her? Yes. She now consistently sleeps 10-11 hours at night, and I want you to know that it is possible to get there in most cases. Does she ever wake up and need me now? Yes, and that is totally normal. There is a middle ground! I am committed to educating families about realistic expectations and delivering brighter days through achieving well rested nights.
